The ZHS Diamond Girls are a support squad that contribute to the baseball team. The group consists of 30 young ladies who work at all home and post-season games in addition to various charity events.
The squad serves as hostesses to the Zachary Youth Park and Stadium. Their responsibilities include selling game day programs, recovering foul balls, concession setup & gate collections, press box & scoreboard, answering fans questions, assisting with game day field operations, and checking on umpires.
Each squad works in groups of ten girls per game & then alternates with the other squads.
Students must have a 2.5 GPA, reliable transportation, and be willing to work as a viable part of the ZHS baseball program.
