Tidwell, a sophomore right-hander, threw his first career complete game and shutout March 3 in a 7-0 Northwestern State victory against ULM. Six days after, Tidwell has been named the state Pitcher of the Week by the Louisiana Sports Writesr Association.
It is the first such award for Tidwell and the first for a Demons player this season.
